Description

This opera buffa, which was composed by Joseph Haydn on a libretto of Carlo Goldoni, premiered in 1768 in Hungary for the opening of the Esterházy palace opera house.  Director Eva Buchmann translates this beautiful buffa to a very accesible piece, whilst maintaining the high quality standards she is known for.
