Masterclass Jörgen van Rijen
in the Punto Arte Festival

4-9 July 2026 Jörgen van Rijen (principal trombonist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) will organize an intensive trombone masterclass for a limited number of advanced students in Volterra, Tuscany. A week full of individual lessons with Jörgen van Rijen, ensemble playing and orchestra section coaching, mock auditions, stage performance training and baroque trombone sessions with conductor and old music specialist Jan Willem de Vriend. All of this while enjoying Tuscany's beautiful surroundings, food and culture and the swimming pool of the wonderful accomodation. During the week we will play several concerts in the area, including in the Punto Arte Festival in Volterra.

Cancellations made on or before the 15th of May 2026 are eligible for a refund of the fee minus the pre-payment fee of €500,-.

Cancellations made before the 1st of June 2026 are eligible for a 50% refund. 

Cancellations made on or after the 1st of June 2026 are non-refundable.
